The Rivermoore Riptide from Suwanee, GA is a competitive swim team and part of the Gwinnett County Swim League.  We also offer a program for younger swimmers who want to learn how to swim called the Ripples.

The Riptide is made up of swimmers between the ages of 4-18 years old.  We first formed our team in 2000. 

We have very experienced coaches who focus on proper stroke technique, while helping each swimmer improve and enjoy competitive swimming.    

Our "Ripples" team is for younger swimmers, who are just learning to swim and do not want to participate in our competitive meets.  Typically Ripples swimmers range in age from 3 to 6, but most 5 and 6 year-olds participate with our competitive team.  Ripples swimmers must be potty trained and capable of receiving group instruction.  If desired, it is not uncommon for Ripples members to "graduate" to the competitive team by the end of the swim season. 

Our season runs from mid-May through early-July, culminating in a championship meet held at the 1996 Olympic pool at Georgia Tech!
